Abstract

In the middle of December 1959, being an employee of the Casa Vicini, in my capacity as technical advisor in livestock and pastures of Angelina, CAEI and Cristóbal Colón Mills, we were buying steers for yoke in those days. While talking to Juan Tomás Díaz, he tells me that he has a lot of animals he wants to sell; therefore, I inform you that if they are suitable for draft, the kilo of meat is paid more expensive: we agreed and went to Finca La Cana, in Fantino, Cotuí.
