Abstract

I have always thought that we Dominicans need to know more about the history of Haiti. If we knew it better, the relations between the two countries would be different. I believe that this ignorance has resulted in the infinite set of difficulties that have affected relations between the two nations for many years. A truly absurd reality between two peoples that share the reduced scene of this small island territory.
