Pre-Socratic philosophy is characterized by reflecting on the origin and foundation of being. This means, she was the owner of a cosmogonic vision of the world. This is evidenced by the first philosophical school of antiquity, of which news has reached us. This school is usually called the Ionian School, representing, essentially, by the philosophers: Anaximander, Anaximenes and, of course, Thales of Miletus, who led it, and who was named as one of the seven sages of Greece.
