The commemoration of the centenary of the Great October Socialist Revolution has served as a milestone and recount to assess the impact of the revolutions in history and verify that decades later, it continues to arouse fears and concerns in the prevailing thinking of the unipolar world and that of unique thought, emerged after the disappearance of the USSR and the socialist camp. Today, as yesterday, cultural war strategies are implemented to hide or manipulate what has really happened and its impact; and attempts are made to demobilize those who fight for the construction of an alternative order to the predominance of capital. What has been established, bases the unavoidable need to incorporate in today’s transforming struggles the essences and cultural dimensions of historical processes, vindicating the tradition of which the enormous legacy left after the revolutionary takeover of power in Russia in 1917.
