Abstract

The essay includes the academic journey of many Dominican students, graduates and professionals from the former USSR, the countries of Eastern Europe and Cuba, in the areas of Science, Arts, Technology, and Humanities. It shows how these professionals have left their mark on the educational and cultural path in the Dominican Republic and in other countries of our region.
