Addressing implications related to the teaching of history refers first of all to the characteristics of the educational system. In the same way, it refers to considering the meaning of historical knowledge in a cultural context. In the Dominican Republic of the present, a marked deficit of quality is observed in the entire educational system, which presents a problem that conditions any implications in the search for sectoral solutions, such as the teaching of History.
