Fernando Pérez Memén, Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Dominican Republic

Degree in Philosophy, Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo and Doctor in History, El Colegio de México. Recognized national and international university professor. Researcher at the General Archive of the Indies, Seville, Spain. National History Award in 1982 and 1993. Author of 15 books and articles in Mexican and Caribbean magazines. Member of number of the Dominican Academy of History and Sciences of the Dominican Republic and Member of the Academies of History and History and Geography of Mexico.
