Author Biography

Luis Rafael Gómez Pérez, Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Dominican Republic

Born in Guayacanes, Laguna Salada, Valverde, Dominican Republic in 1933. Doctor of Law, Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, 1970. At the UASD, he has been director of: the Department of Political Science, the Center for the Study of Dominican Social Reality, the Santiago Regional University Center, the Civic Extension Program, and the Center for Constitutional Studies. His most widely read publication has been Dominant Production Relations in Dominican Society (1875-1975).
