The study of libraries is a field of historical research that although open for several decades with works such as those of lrving Leonard, it still lacks a particularly lavish treatment today. In addition, these studies are much more advanced for times such as the 18th century than for the 16th century because that is a period in which the Crown already outlines a defined policy on librarian issues (sic), and there is also a large number of inventories and catalogs of books that have facilitated its study.
