In this article we will implement a kind of archeology of the political thought of Raúl Pérez Peña –Bacho– in the work The Agricultural Proletariat, Fundamental Force of the Dominican Revolution, following the established by the French philosopher Michel Foucault, whom in his famous work published in 1969 “L’archéologie du savoir”, develops an analytical method in order to establish how the systems of thought and knowledge (see “epistemes” or “discursive formations”) are governed by rules that operate on the conscience of individual subjects and define at the same time a system of conceptual possibilities that determine the limits of their thinking in a given context and space.
