/ The revolutionary culture

Abstract

The article analyzes how, in the twentieth century, we have been witnessed to the collapse of many certainties, such as the political parties, the elections, democracy, philosophy, humanism, the family, among a long list. It also reflects how in Cuba, from Fidel Castro´s first speech in Santi Espiritu, was manifested and promised the creation of a citizen with a comprehensive general culture was manifested and promised. It was argued that a cultured man is aware that his freedom is unconquerable. In this regard, Che, in 1965, wrote in his essay-letter entitled «Socialism and man in Cuba» the scope that the formation of that new man would have. It ends up recognizing that although the Revolution has not achieved the creation of a totally new man, it at least managed to form solidary citizens, and this is a novelty in today’s world.
