Doctor in History from the Pablo de Olavide University and specialist in History and criticism of Architecture and urban planning from the University of Buenos Aires. He is principal investigator of the research group Social and identity dynamics in the history of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Andalusian Research Plan (HUM-1042) and Member of the European project Connected Worlds: The Caribbean Origin of Modern World (CONNECCARIBBEAN-823846) . He is also principal investigator of the project “Circulation of ideas and practices about police in urban centers of Hispanic America (1700-1821)” of the Seventh Own Plan of the University of Seville (reference: 2023/00000385).
