The teaching and learning process of the dominican history is going through a critical moment, and it is called to give a substantive change in the methodology it currently employs. It is time to prepare new supporting tools based on information technology that can be used and improved during the change process. For this purpose, a proposal is formulated taking into account the teaching and learning situation of History and defining the main challenges of the task.
